Reviews
We went hiking here and liked some of the parts of the trail (foresty, shady); other parts were not so nice - just gravelly roads.
There are several levels of trails, mainly designed for biking.
Parking lot is big, however, it says it’s for Loblaw’s customers only.
No restrooms available.
Just dug up this new bike trail, do go and check it out. I would definitely recommend sunscreen as it gets very sunny in the afternoon.
It's a new trail diversion so be careful about the route and exercise caution. There is also a Loblaws nearby if you need to get some snacks or some quick hydration!
Its sprawling hills, meandering river, and dense woods create a picturesque landscape, making it an ideal destination for hiking and mountain biking.
Ample amount of parking next to Loblaws. The trail consist of narrow pathways, up and down trails and lots of shaded areas. There were a lot of bikers along the path but everyone was courteous to just move to the side. There are a lot of pathways that bring you back to the beginning.
It’s even more beautiful during the fall!
Overall, enjoyed it.
It has amazing trails, we went to explore the sun valley trail and then we took the lower don train where it has bridge on the river where you can take nice pictures. In addition to this, you can take your dogs as well. Should visit once in a life.
It's really a nice place for hiking with some easy to intermediate level routes. It's muddy and not recommended during rains but if you like adventures, it's great. There's this small creek, it's really beautiful, just sit and enjoy the view. It's peaceful
Crothers Woods - Beautiful in the Spring and Fall
This wooded trail is perfect for hiking during the spring/summer and fall seasons.
There are trails for walking and biking but be careful of bikers. The trails are hilly.
In the fall, you see a canopy of leaves above you and you walk in a canopy of fallen leaves. It is perfect for those looking for fall photographs.
A few lovely spots to just relax and enjoy nature. Worked up a nice little burn on my way back up
